Get a Windows 98 or later boot disk and start up with that. Once you get to the command prompt type in <b>FDISK /mbr</b><br><br>

Just rebooted, GRUB loaded, but didnâ€™t do anything, put in that Norton ghost recovery cd had it restore the master boot record, and it works fine now.<br />
Would fixmbr do the same thing? Also is GRUB completely gone now?
Throw in your XP cd. Get to the recovery console (i assume you know how) and type:<br />
and say yes to whatever it asks<br />
and then<br />
and say yes to whatever that one says
