Thinking about picking it up on steam for 7.50, how does it compare to other racing games like gran turismo? Graphics looks awesome, and the physics look great too. Is it worth 8 bucks being over 1.5 years old?
EDIT:
Also curious about the multiplayer, how is it overall?

Yeah im looking now to see if it has multiplayer, online play would seal the deal for me. I know its only 8 bucks but i dont want to buy a crappy game lol.
yea its well worth that m8, its no gran turismo its more arcadey but still loads of fun, drift gp is my fave as it needs a touch more skill to get right.
Well worth it, worth $20 even. The graphics are good, and it's a fun mix of arcade/sim. I tried the multiplayer once and couldn't find but one game with 2 people in it, so I haven't checked since then. Still worth $8 just for sp.

Ahh no upgrading car parts or anything? hmmmm multiplayer still seems kinda fun. I dont care about tweaking a car for 10 hours to get 2mph out of it, but upgrading parts is always fun.
Excellent game. Really excellent. Best racing game I've played on PC, the graphics are awesome, the gameplay is fun, but as has been said, there's no customisation, which is the only downside I can think of.
It is basically impossible to play with a keyboard... I'd recommend a wheel or controller to play it with any sort of decency.
I've had it since release and it's still fun to play. Drifting is sweet as well as multiplayer but I primarily use it at my LAN partys. The 360 controller is the way to go with this game.
i love it.. i use an xbox controller and max the graphics out.. the only thing i recommend is turning the blur effect off.. makes it hard to drive and kind of kills the realistic effects.
GRID is a great racing game.. I love the damage system, as well as the vehicle dynamics system, a great buy at 8 dollars, GRID supports both LAN and Online play for multiplayer..
