For my next build in the future I'm thinking about pursuing water cooling instead of basic air. How much would a basic loop for CPU and 2 GPUs cost?
I completely agree with this.Originally Posted by crazyap7;13008317
Everyone who are counting the base RASA kit plus two GPU blocks...this is entirely incorrect. One 360 rad for two GPUs and a CPU is inadequate. You'd have to count in an extra rad and some fans.
You could easily spend over $500 for a base loop, I'd say $600-$700 for a quality custom loop.
I understand your skepticism, which is shared by another member above this post, however I hear very often in this forum that 120mm of radiator per heat-generating unit is sufficient. Sure, not the best cooling, but doable. I'd always go with the RX instead of RS just for that expandability.Originally Posted by crazyap7;13008317

I agree. The problem is that this guy doesn't really know much about watercooling (I assume. Sorry if i'm mistaken). Most of the time when people switch to WCing from air they are looking to improve their temps by a fairly significant amount and with 2 GPUs and a most likely OCed CPU he is going to see very similar temps to his current set up I would imagine. Having an extra 120 or 240mm of RAD on top of a 360mm would help him out a lot with this issue tho and that is why I think that the RX360 isn't enough rad for him. Especially since graphics cards put out a lot of heat.Originally Posted by Dr.GumbyM.D.;13008948
