How much frame loss in x8 CF opposed to x16 CF /w PII2 955

IF I am running a Phenom II 955 OC 3.8 system with 2 5870's at x8 x8.

How many frames am I losing because its not x16 x16.

The 5870 is one of the more bandwidth intensive cards but I wouldn't worry too much. Expect 0-10% performance decrease.

I recently did a test. Ran 3dmark06 with a 4890 on 8x and 16x. 16x got 300 more points than 8x...difference is pretty much nothing.

From what I've read, it's something like 3-5%. Certainly nothing to worry about and no reason to invest money in a new mobo or anything.

Are the GA-K8NPRO-SLI PCIe slots PCIe 1.0 or 2.0/2.1 ?
if 1.0 I believe you should compare the x4 and x8 data on the techpowerups graphs.
