Hey guys, I'm thinking about getting into water cooling again for this build, and i'm just wondering, how much rad should I get? I am running the enermax t.b. silence 120mm fans, and I want to cool both my cpu and gpu.

1 thick 360 will do fine, my vote goes for an rx360

I don't really have room in my case for a 360, would a thin 240 + thicker 120 work okay?

If you're planning to keep that OC in your sig rig and the 560 under water, you could get away with an rx240.

I'm a bit biased with the RX series because of their performance over some past rads I've had.

I'd actually like to oc a little bit more, but my main focus is bringing the temps down. Would say, a pull mcr 220 and a push/pull mcr 120 do the trick?

I wouldn't bother with the mcr series unless you were really restricted for space. 1 560 wouldn't bring the overall temp of the water that much higher, and unless you're considering a 5ghz+ OC it shouldn't affect it too much.

Yeah, that's the issue. I am using a mid tower, so space is limited, and I heard that the mcr rads are the best performing thin rads out there.

So your saying though that one thick rad could handle it? Especially if it is like an rx240 with push pull fans? Keep in mind, these fans only spin at 900rpm, but they push quite a bit of air. They push about 0.828mm-H20 of static pressure.

Yes the rx240 could probably handle it and adding in 1 MCR would definitely not hurt.

Truthfully many people overestimate how much rad they need, if you do push pull on the RX you should be just fine, you don't have major amounts of heat being dumped.

Yeah, last time my setup was pretty overkill, but still provided some awesome results. And I guess if it isn't enough, I can always add more rad.

So you guys think it should do just fine with a single rx 240 then? All i'm waiting for is the ek gtx 560 block, then i'll be ordering.

And I'm looking for lowering my temps quite a bit.
