Motherboard is the EVGA Classified.

Should I go 2 260s in SLI, or a 285?

And then which brand/card(s) do you recommend? Running 1920x1200 on a 28" LCD.

My wife's pc died, so I need to build her a replacement. I figure this is a good time to dump my 8800GTS on her, and grab a new setup for myself

The 1GB version to the card will do you fine and from my own personal experience I would do 1 stronger card over 2 weaker cards..SLI is somewhat of a pain in the butt and a hassle.

Yup the 285 for sure. Sometimes you aint even goin gto get the amount performance form two cards. Its going to be like one card and one half performing no two.

I had the same dilemma and decided to go with 2 260's in sli its basically like buying a 295. SLI for newer games FSX, Crysis, Arma 2, GTA ect work great. These new games like SLI just like they like quad cores.

Just make sure to get the core 216, and don't bother getting the super clocked editions you can overclock them VERY easy to that spec and beyond.
