Hi<br><br>
I got a HP Pavilion dv8260ea, i tied to change the wlan card, but on reboor the bios told me thath the card was unsuported. (Intel (R) Pro 2200BG)<br><br>
I was unable to boot at all.... <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/gunner2.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Gunner2"><br><br>
Any way around this "bios-block"??<br><br>

the only way around this is to return the wlan card. go to HPs website and copy the names of the wireless cards you can buy with the notebook, buy one of those from a site, and it should be supported.

A wireless card is a very small card but it is a very sensitive component of laptop. You can check its PCI cards which gives detail on tight internal chambers of a laptop. You have to a plug a wire antenna. You can also replace through Mini or M.2 wireless slot
