Ok i got the P4P800-E-Deluxe in,reconnected everything, powered it on and the green mobo light went on the case fans went on,cd drives opened so i guess i installed it correctly! but my 6800GT hasen't arrived so i couldnt do anything since my monitor cables has to connect to the card!<br />

but i have a ? can i connect an adapter to the blue serial(under the pink one) and connect my VGA cable and will my monitor work?<br />

Ok another ? when i power it on for the first time what do i do? do i insert the asus drivers CD and how do i need to clean out the old drivers?? basically what has to be done when a New Mobo is installed!

</div>Can't do that, just wait for your graphics card to arrive and use that. You will need to install all of the new motherboard and audio drivers that came with the board, just follow the instructions and you will be fine. <img src="/images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" class="inlineimg" />

I believe NO decent high end motherboards come with built in video.

Ok but i bought the Mobo as a Pull so it came with just a driver CD! thats why i need help! ok so when i get the card i pop it in then turn on the PC and then what? just pop in the Asus Drivers CD? and yeah i just learned that "AfterMarket" Mobo have no Onboard Video <img src="/images/smilies/frown.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Frown" class="inlineimg" /> guess i gotta wait for the 6800GT OC

Yup, as soon as you finish installing Windows, Set a restore point. Then install the drivers for your video card. Set a restore point. Then install the drivers for the motherboard (either off the CD or better yet, download the most current ones from the website), then set a restore point and you should be set to go.

ok i didnt have a XP CD but it worked! i borrowed my Bro's 6200 OC and i installed the Mobo drivers! Card Drivers! so i'm good, thanks everyone for your help
