Well This really didnt start out as an experiment but turned into one.Anyhow. (this is all on my cpu)

Ushaly my room with my computer in it is about 21C which is like mid 70s in F. Anyhow when my computer would be on standby it would be 29C and when playing counter strike source while running vent, aim, yahoo, and firefox, it would be about 39C.

Anyhow one night i accidently left all 6 of my windows open in my room and it happend to be 50 that night. I wake up and my room is 19C which is 65ish F. Anyhow I turn on my computer let it heat up and everything and my computer at standby is 21C and while playing Counter strike source with all that other crap running i was about 31C.

So therefor a 2C change in your room temp could equal a lot cooler computer. However you might get very cold.

So for you people who have problems with overheating may i suggest putting on the AC instead of the Heat?

If your ambient drops by about 2 then your rig temps could only drop by about 2 also. It makes sense to get your ambient as low as you comfortably can. If you can not run a lower ambient temperature to keep overclocks under control, this is where the extreme cooling steps in to do the job for you -peltiers\\phase. Water cooling will not give you below ambient temperatures.

Which is still about -70 degrees cenigrade. I have only seen extreme phase change systems measured in kelvins. And the farenheit scale, last time I checked, was still the primary scale used in the US, so cut the guy some slack.

If you find that idea funny, my ghetto AC extreme setup should have you rolling on the floor 'till you look at the temps it produces.

haha nice, honestly if i could and had the time and skillz to do it i would because itd be a hell lot cheaper then watercooling. Even tho itd be noisy but watercooling doesnt make ne noise dif with my CPU and VGa fan because my PSU is so F*n loud!
