Not all cards support temperature monitoring, and those that do usually have their own software for doing so. You could also check under the advanced driver settings and see if it's there.

so there isnt any software i can download that can tell me my gc temp?

None that I know of other than the Forceware driver package. And that's still only if the the card's hardware supports temperature monitoring.
