how to set cpu to 100%

how can i set the cpu fan to 100% all the time

my best guess is in the bios. i bought one with an external speed controller so im not sure.
i did disable cool n quiet but it didnt work

my bad i was thinking of something else, i edited my post, you have to disble qfan.

it might be called something else on asrock mobo. just look in the power section.

Plug it directly into a Molex connector with an adapter.
You could try downloading speedfan and setting your CPU fan to 100%.
i have tried speed fan but it didnt work and i dont have that q-fan in my bios
are there any other programs i can use ?
It's possible that your fan has a thermal sensor on it, and won't spin at full speed until it hits a certain temp, or the diode pins are shorted.
Plug it in the green circle. You must have it in the red one.

i have got my fan pluged in to the red one
On my Asrock motherboard, I have to enable CPU quiet fan, and then use Asrock OC tuner in Windows to set the CPU fan speed to whichever % I want
ok i have CPU quiet fan enabled and i have asrock oc tuner how do i change the cpu fan speed ?

Awesome, glad to offer more help than stretching your CPU fan cable all the way across the motherboard to a 3 pin fan header.

This. By plugging it directly into the PSU there's no possibility of any speed control from the motherboard. Although you've solved the problem with software, I think this is the more elegant solution...
