OK. Now, what's your question?

EDIT: If you're asking how to use SATA II....it's simple.

Plug in your harddrive to your motherboard and turn on your computer. lol.

You have to activate or turn on SATA II's features, you don't just plug it in and it works.

I am having a problem with my sata2 drive. I installed windows on it recently, then rehooked my PATA drives after install, so I did not need annoying/confusing RAID to work all 3 drives. However Windows does not detect SATA controller by itself. It has the SATA under PATA for udma6.

So I am told to use the IDE storage driver. Yeah great, and that fixes one problem but caused another. Random machine_check_exception BSOD's with that driver installed. I've tried everything I could think of, still not getting further help from DFI, so frustrated on the whole thing. I do not want RAID dependencies on my drives, why I installed windows that way. Though I want my SATA to still run at its transfer speed without random BSOD's heh.
