How would the MSI GX600 laptop be for....

Hi guys, seen as im at collage now, i would like a fairly powerful computer (For games) but it needs to be portable, how would this be for things like cod4, bf2 and empire total war?

It would do okay, but not anywhere near great. The rig that I have in my sig can run Cod4 to about medium specs. I think you would be fine with that price. If you are willing spend more, I really recommend getting a better graphics card. The 8600 isn't the best for gaming
Well i would be upgrading the hdd to a 320gb 7200rpm and a extra 2gb ram, but that is pretty much my max budget, it also needs to be from that site.

hes running a smaller res, probably 1280x800

i have the gx620/1651, it has the 9600m gt
idk how much different it is, but i get a constant 50-60 fps on all maps but overgrown at 1280x800, no aa, shadows off

hdd size/speed and ram wont make any difference for waht your asking

That should be good then. And as it was pointed out, you are running a smaller resolution, so you should have no problems. I missed that of the first look through of it

I was looking at your laptop a few days ago on an american site (Im British) and i converted it into pounds and i was blown away at the price, it was really cheap for what it is but it seems slightly unfair to me

Well i work for them, so i will be getting discount thats why
and im afraid to say that that tell me button means that we havnt any on order and probably wont
Its ok if it says 2-3 days though
