* toss the PSU or put into old sys.

Everthing here is pretty much Vista-Ready.

I read Shifty's article/thread on the new BE2300. IMHO for the $25 more than the 'old' 65W model, its quite the chip. 3216 on 1900 is just ill.
Also was looking at threads for the 8600GT oc: no volt-mods, just step it up. Of course the TF7025-M2 is considered with the 630a integrated bridges. I think I can get good
for the
, and will post a few questions about this build elsewhere.

2 CPU's listed for choice... not use. It turns out that the BE2300 (as rep'd by Shifty) STILL has the temp errata. Thus, none of the above 2 CPU's are chosen. Will go with the Brisbane 3600 and a combo deal that will save US$37.50 compared to the new BE2300. Will have to edit.

Gonna say thats 1 bad for AMD not fixing the On-Die TSD.

Nothing wrong w/XClio GreatPower PSU's... they are an off-brand just like OCZ. Now if I picked the dreaded R word (Rosewill) PSU, thats a different story... minefield... with one or two exceptions at JonnyGuru's.

And of course, as soon as the plastic comes outta the wallet, another item OOS at the egg...
