220x10 at 1.55 is a very nice overclock. As long as your temps are good, and you're computer does the things you want it to do stabily, then congrats! You did very well!

I haven't really pushed it yet. 33C/91F so far for cpu temp according to MBM 5. 10 is as low as I can go on the multiplier, so i'll try upping the frequency next.

I just got the mobo a couple months ago and the ram. So, no upgrades soon. cpu, mobo, and memory for $200 was a good deal if I can only push it harder.

You should be able to get alot higher...

I am on air cooling and I am at 2.5GHz 250x10 with RAM in 1:1 ratio... Unfortunetley my RAM is the limiting factor in my OC... I can push the CPU FSB all the way upto 300 and then some but because memory can only go to 250 stable there is no performance gains from the high FSB.

But hey you should be able to get some more out of her before you find your being held back by something.

Lothos: Are you using an Asrock Combo-Z?

if so good choice for overclocking and for future use with the 939/FX chip! we pretty much the same computer if you do.

My athlon 64 3000+ easily pushed past 250 FSB...over 2500 Mhz, but ive finally set it at a 2470 Mhz since i had a crash or two with setting it @ 250 FSB with long durational gameplay.

It's the Asrock K8S8X board. So far all is well where i'm at. A little warmup on the northbridge. I may get a waterblock for that eventually.
