I recently upgraded my HP g6-1b60us APU from the A4-3300M Dual-Core to an A8-3510MX Quad-Core. But I am worried about my temps? It idles between 40 to 50 degrees Celsius and in regular work load like browsing and movies reach's anywhere from 50 to 70 degrees Celsius and games I haven't tried yet. I have had it reach 94 degrees Celsius and core temp shut my computer down because of high temps. What can I do to fix this?

Hmm. Did you check the TDP requirements for your motherb- oh wait, it's a laptop. Did you apply the thermal compound correctly? It wouldn't be surprising to me if it just simply isn't compatible, even if it the same socket. The cooling system on that laptop is probably fit for a low power dual core chip like the a4, not something much faster.
