I can't find a decent comparison between these 3 cards, so I decided to ask you guys.

I'm tending to lean away from Creative since their x64 drivers seem to not work for a lot of people, so I guess it boils down to HT Omega vs. Auzentech.

I'll be using it with a 5.1 system that I'm getting from a friend. Currently, I use the Altec Lansing ATP3 set, it's a 2.1 system.

Tell me why or why not to buy the cards

I can't find any more of those deals. Disregarding price, which one of those is the best?

They still pretty cheap on ebay and are great sound cards.
dude:confused:
the Titanium HD is stereo card (only 2 channels)
the OP said hes going to get a 5.1 set

between the 3 i will say the Titanium all the way , why?

better than all
PCIe
good drivers (not the best though)
Auzentech cards die after a while
HT Omega are not so good in gaming , and have very ******ed GUI

What do you mean not good in gaming? I am an audiohpile too though. I listen to FLAC and at the lowest, 320kbps music. Everything I watch is 720p or higher with FLAC or similar audio encoding.

EDIT: btw look at this. It seems to be 5.1 capable.

with (not good) i did not mean that it`s rubbish , but gaming cards are supposed to give you the best positional 3D audio and sadly the striker does not do it as good as Creatives, you can say that Xonars and HT Omegas are more music / movies cards than gamingcards

the HD can pass 5.1 through optical , it only can output 2 channels through RCA

So I will need some sort of optical adapter? Could you perhaps point me in the right direction? I'm not yet accustomed to the world of audio hardware.
