I just got back from the AT&T store because I'm thinking of joining in on a family plan with my sisters from what I have now, which is boost mobile.

I was really excited about going to see the HTC Fuze, but when I finally got to screw around with it a bit in the store I was disappointed. Is there a reason the display model could be slower than the retail models? It just seemed to me that things took just long enough to load to make it annoying. Like when you flip up the keyboard, late response when you press a button, and when writing a text message as well.

Does anyone have feedback on whether it should be smoother than this, or if when I mod it will it be a little quicker? I did plan on modding it which was one of the reasons why this was my top choice.

My HTC Kaiser or the Tilt was slow when I first bought it, but after messing with settings, download tweaks and of course overclocking the cpu my Kaiser is blazing fast now. The only thing that is slow, is the boot up, but thats very rare when you have to restart it.

I'd recommend checking this site out.

Since this is WM6+ smartphone there is alot of tweaking that can be done.
