i noticed the option to deactivate HT in my BIOS. i was wondering what i should expect performance-wise if i do it. from waht i've read, HT is not that great

i mostly play game, but i do some avi-to-dvd from time to time, and i do a lot of dvd-burning and dvd-reading

thank you

Any multithreaded program will benefit from HT. And all the new games will be multithreaded so it will help with them.
