I believe this is a power supply problem

Well, about a week ago my pc just randomly stopped posting. After having my friend come over and fiddling around, we popped in another power supply and voila it started booting again just fine, so we assumed that the old power supply was dead. Just out of curiousity, I plugged the old one back in just to find that it decided to start posting again. Now it started doing it again, and after unplugging the psu for some time and plugging it back in like I did before, it still won't post.

I think won't post is the right term for this, it powers on and all the lights and fans start spinning, but no video comes out. I've tried taking out all of my ram, gfx card, and my psu and putting them back in and none of that worked. Neither did resetting the cmos

Thoughts would be appreciated

sorry must have missed that, if you tried a new psu and it posts then i would say go for a new psu
Try flipping the I/O switch from off to on, while its on. My dads computer does that too and thats the only way to get it to post.

Well, I went to try the flipping the IO switch suggestion, and when I turned it on and was about to flip the switch, the computer posted and has been running fine since

This thing has really got me a bit confused

This was my sig rig btw, so I only have one pci-e slot
