So I just got my MSI 5870 Lightning but I cannot change its voltage.

Without display drivers, the voltage can be adjusted just fine.

As soon as I install the display drivers though, voltage stays @ 1.125 in 3D mode.

I've tried the 10.2, 10.3 beta, and the drivers on the CD. (9.0)

I've tried with the CCC, and without.

Any suggestions?

I know it shouldn't need to happen, but try finding the MSIAfterburner.cfg file in your program files (x86) in your MSI Afterburner folder, and changing the line "EnableUnofficialOverclocking=0" to "EnableUnofficialOverclocking=1" and restart MSI Afterburner.

That might help.

Good luck on your quest!

Yeah, different VRM and control IC will need a new version of AB for software vmods.
