Its intresting. On my computer (and the others) i cant ping the server (192.168.1.1) But when im on the server i cant ping my computer back (192.168.1.14)

And when im on my computer i cant ping another computer like (192.168.1.12)

Why cant i communicate between these computers?

Windows Firewall blocking ICMP?
Seems weird since it's in the same subnet, most firewalls will allow that traffic unless you choose a public zone or something.

Well on the server LAC1 (Which is connected to the internet) Is Public /W NAT enabled
LAC2 which is connected to my switch is on private.\\\

And im on the internet right now so i can get online using my comp..

127.0.0.1 ... Yes

So no one can talk to each other is that the problem?

Also when you say server at 192.168.1.1 is this your gateway?

Also what are the routing tables on the boxes and the firewall rules like?

Yep the server is the DHCp server & default gateway etc etc. I actually disabled the firewall untill i can get this resolved.

Is the gateway a winsdows or linux box?

Also does it work without the firewall rules?

Where is the ping being blocked from the server to your machine, do a traceroute and find out would ya?

Oki coke have you done a packet capture to see what uis happening within the network?

And what are the routing tables like on the gateway?
