I just went out and bought a new crucial mx100 512gb ssd because my ocz vertex 450 512gb ssd died. I am waiting to get another ocz vertex 450 512gb ssd from RMA . will I be able to put my ocz vertex 450 512gb with my crucial mx100 512gb in a raid 0 configuration ? if not I will sell my ocz vertex 450 512gb ssd and buy another crucial mx100 512gb and put x2 crucial mx100 512gb ssd's in raid 0 . also I have a msi z97 gaming 7 motherboard and windows 7 . will trim be enabled if I put x2 ssd's in raid 0 ?

RAID can sometimes go a bit funny with passing on TRIM, but I believe that new chipsets, such as your Z97, will do it. You may need to install Intels SSD toolbox.
There's something that gets installed with drivers that you will need. It is not the Intel SSD toolbox.
EDIT; It's Intel RST.

Enable TRIM

Code:

Code:
fsutil behavior set disabledeletenotify 0
should I put both ssd's in raid ? or should I just add the 2nd ssd for storage ?

In RAID0, if and drive fails, just a single drive, you lose everything.
are you saying in raid 0 if one drive dies that both drives die ? and does raid 0 increase the chances of ssd 's dying ? or are you just talking about data loss ?
