Man do I hate that company. I have gotten alot of things shipped through them in the past but lately they have been sucking soo bad its unbelievable.

I ordered a new phone from cingular, and it ended up in Nevada and then that was it. It got lost, and now cingular and ups have to fight it out and I still don't have a new phone.

Thing 2, I RMAd my GPU and evga got it about 2 days after I shipped it. They then shipped it that very same day. Which was last thursday. and guess what it still isn't here. It was shipped 3 day select air which is a gurannted to be here in 3 days or less. So it should of been here either monday or tuesday. But nope still not here. It said tomorrow, but then guess what, They shipped it down to KY from NJ so now its not supposed to come untill Thursday. And the worst part is I know how they treat their packages, so the more time my card is in their hands the more damage they can do to it. You should of seen half the boxes they delivered to me lately.

Man all I want is my card back so I can get off this crappy back up rig and play some css and what not.

I seriously think it would of been faster to like drive to eVGA and exchange it by hand and then drive back. Would of only taken like 5 days. And I could of worked on the weekend.

Ah, looks like you just have bad luck with UPS , I always get my packages pretty quick, same as USPS, but USPS tends to miship them more often.

Its still unexcusable to ship something across the county and then lose it. I don't care if its 'new' guys or not. They are trying to run a business, and they are sucking horrible at it.

Same here. Still, I try to ship Fedex whenever possible simply because they have an after hour pickup service.

Guess what UPS...I WORK during the day. Yeah, that's right...I WORK...delivering to residential is a joke unless I had a full time wife-mom or maid at home.

Ya I hate ups too. 1st: they can never find my house 2: when they can't find my house they drop my stuff off at my neighbours house (who I don't like)
3: they drop my stuff off at my my neighbours house which is directly across the street from me on a rural road that has like 2 houses on it.
4: When I find out something is coming via ups I call them so I can just go to the ups depot and get it myself and then they tell me I can't pick it up until they try to deliver it once.

Souds like something that happened to me a while ago. I made a thread on it. Basically my package started out a few hours away from the final destination and ended up crossing the whole damn country before I finally got it.

Edit: Here you go http://www.overclock.net/rants-raves...-ups-rant.html. It's rather funny now that I think about it.

I had to wait 3 months for my bass guitar to travel to england using ups. It was meant to take 5 days and it had a tracking code on it. That annoyed me.

I always pay the little extra for Fed Ex. Never had a problem with UPS, won't knock them, but I always go Fed Ex these days.

I only use UPS if the package was to be delivered in California (same state as me) because it takes 1 day to get it. Otherwise USPS Priority is what i use the most

USPS is far worse than UPS.

I highly recommend NOT to use USPS! They lose so many packages, I work at "The UPS Store" and we ship via USPS and UPS, and trust me... Pay the little more for UPS. Or if money is not a issue go with FedEx.

I feel your pain with UPS...

So far this year I've had three cases arrive from UPS damaged (thank you Newegg for being so understanding).

Last week I sent a fully assembled computer to Kentucky (from Ohio), in the original case box with styro, UPS said that may not be sufficient and put that box in a larger box and filled it with peanuts. Customer opens the box, pulls the computer out and what does he find?! All of the hard drive, optical drive, and video card screws COMPLETELY sheared off! 75% of the computer was laying in a pile in the bottom of the case.

So I head off to UPS with my receipt, invoice for the parts, and letter from the customer to file an insurance claim. First thing UPS asks is "who packed it?" I replied that they had packed it, after they suggested I put it in a larger box with peanuts to protect it. They pulled the information on the shipment, come back over to me and say "We didn't pack it, you did". I then asked the woman to define "packing" to which she replied placing an item in an acceptable shipping container with adequate material to protect the item during transportation. I responded by saying, like I said, you packed it. She said, "No sir ,we did not pack this". I told her we can argue over semantics later, I just want to file the claim.

So next she asks, how was the item damaged. I explained to her the multitude of sheared screws to which she gave me a blank look and stated, "That could not have happened in shipping". I replied, yes it could if the package drops from one of the conveyor belts. For a moment I think she was starting to understand what happened, but then said "Well UPS won't cover this claim because we didn't pack it" I said my lawyer will be in touch and walked out

Through UPS, is it normal for packages to drop 3-4 feet in the air due to conveyor belts. (Dropping from a higher conveyor belt to a lower belt, or from a conveyor belt into a big bag that will be put inside a truck)

Most packages are dropped this distance more than once during shipping.

I'm not sure how FedEx does it..

I've never had 1 broken or damaged item from UPS or FedEx, and I ordered about 4 packages/month through UPS.

USPS has a about a 40% chance of getting items to my house, theyve lost 3 packages for me, and I refuse to use them now.

I've never had a single package lost from USPS. I guess the same thing goes for them as UPS. Some distribution sites are better than others. WOE be you if you live near one of them.
