opty 165 ccbbe stepping from ebay.com<br>
haans-G 19" widescreen 5 ms from newegg + EVGA 7600 GT for my bro's comp.<br><br>
can't wait to see what the opty can do...it'll be my first dual core

It won't make things that much faster unless you clock it faster then your previous 146, but if you OC it and run multiple applications you'll see a big difference in performance <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Smile">

The other day I had to render a 5 min movie in premier pro 2 and boy, surfing the net never felt so slow... even opening my documents was sllllooow.. I figured it was time to test drive a dual core... hope i don't need those damn patches..I heard a lot of bad things after installing them..<br><br>
Gonna try to overclock the 165 to @ least 2.5. the multi 9x on the 165 sorta scared me a bit...

any upgrades i do, i usually give my old stuff to my bro.... so now his xp 3200 barton and fx5950 ultra is gonna get replaced by my opty 146 and 7600GTS... + my old Asrock Dual SATAII mobo.. then i give my bro's barton system to my sister... then give my sister's system 1.3ghz thunderbird to my little bro and sis to play with...<br><br>
i'm worry that the lcd might come with dead pixels...<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/redface.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Embarrassment">
