I have two friends who have raved about this game for a couple years, I finally decided to try it. I just made it out of the vault and am trying to find galaxy Radio, this game is hard.

My only advice is to pick up everything. EVERYTHING.

Spoons, plates, pens. All the mundane stuff. It'll help a lot in the beginning.

Save often (make as many save slots as possible) so that you have a backup plan incase you get stuck somewhere (literally; lots of bugs/glitches in Fallout 3).
