Just got a 7700K, using a Cryorig H7.

Ran Cinebench, and compared to my i5 6400 (4.3, 1.395v) vs the 7700K (stock, 1.2v), I'm seeing higher temps.

Reseat my heatsink twice now, and temps didn't really change.

Intel Burn Test, I'm failing for some reason, but temps spike up to 95c so I'm thinking that's the reason why. Cinebench runs fine, just wondering if the Intel pigeon poo really varies this much on CPUs or do I keep trying to reseat my heatsink.

Using MX-4 if it matters.

Reseated for the 500th time, about to give up. Best I got it was down to 97c on the 4th core during Cinebench at 4.8Ghz w/ 1.295v.

Hit 5Ghz with 1.325v, but temps are too bad to run Cinebench without throttling.

Still not sure why I could run 1.395v on my i5 6400 without going above 81c, though.

Delid time?
