Seriously, I returned my 7900GS KO back to them and received an 8800GT, and ill tell you.. the power is amazing... especially for my 3700+ San diego.. I'm surprised im not severely bottlenecked. The fan on this card is hella loud at 100%, but it seems to be really cool at that level, I get 46C with it set high.. I can max out Crysis on all high settings and I am still able to get smooth framerates on 1024x764 4XAA. I believe my 3DMARK06 was 7,973 as well.

For some reason I am not able to find the Part number for this particular card, so im not sure ill be able to register it..

eVGA 8800GT 512MB 700/1050

Are you using a stock cooler for these speeds?

Also: Should I apply some AS5 on the die?

Cool, I'm about to send back a 7600GT because of an artifact problem, hope I get something good, or at least interesting.
