People have often asked me what happens to hardware that I don't like (Since I tend to have quite a a lot of hardware lying around) Well I would direct people to the crater in the makeshift wall that I throw them at, See im in the middle of a game, Mouse cursor stops working, only goes up and down not left or right, Just up and down it's done this before numerous times and ontop of it taking 10 years to wake up from sleep I've had enough and now it's in tiny itty bitty pieces because

MOUSES ARE SIMPLE HARDWARE IF YOU CANT MAKE A MOUSE THAT DOESNT WORK CORRECTLY YOUR COMPANY EQUAL TERRIBLE, This is a KNOWN issue with the rat line of mice and I am ashamed to have spent 144 bucks on it a near year ago and surprised I didn't intentionaly break it sooner.

Reccemend me a LARGE multi button preferably 9+ in total mouse, Wired or wireless.

Welcome to the club of screwed up Madcatz mice lol. It's a shame because it would've been an awesome product if it was working properly.

For mouse recommendation Logitech G600 and Razer Naga are nice mice. But to me I prefer G700 if you are ok with less buttons.

mine has a problem with my comfort and my mac. i tried another RAT7, it does the same thing. i have to click on any submenu thing for anything to appear. normally i should be just bringing the cursor over there for it to open, but it doesnt do so unless i click on it. weird problem right? but its not my mac, i've reinstalled 10.8, not the mouse because i've tried another one. shame to madkatz, i bought this from the apple store (mainly because only they had the white one), but it says "mac compatible" my butt it is.

The first RAT 9 that I was using died after 1 year and 2 months, the second one stopped working after 9 months and the last 2 did not even last 30 days. All of them share the same problem -- sometimes it will only move up and down, or left and right only. The "solution" according to Madcatz support is to clean the lens. Sure it will work for a while then the problems will reoccur. I think the problem is more than just the mouse getting dirty. I have a spare $10 Microsoft mouse that I haven't cleaned in 5 yrs and it works fine pfft.

Not surprised honestly. In the first month or so I had my mouse it would move on its on(the cursor) or just not work at all, and this would usually happen in a game of course. But it has stopped doing that for awhile and has been fine.
