I Had a Big water 760, it worked well while it lasted... I have my computer at work in Angola and the water pump went out… over here there is no computer parts store in this country and shipping something in would Cost Way to Much… So I got a live well pump for a fishing boat and a 5 gallon igloo cooler and some hose and Made a cooling system… Works Great it keeps my Corei7 2600K running and over clocking at 60F (15c)… I Love it but for some reason the pump keeps losing its prime and every 45 minutes to an hour I have to get up and re-prime the pump… I put 3 frozen bottle of water in it twice a day to keep is Cold… Any ideas? (Other than get a New cooling system)

Do you mean that air collects in the water block?
Is the return line just emptying into the Igloo cooler or is it connected directly to the pump inlet?

I doubt that you have vapor lock. Vapor lock would be the water evaporating at the pump inlet due to high vacuum.

the water flow slows to just a few drops a minute so I have to put my thumb over the return line and to build up the pressure... And sometimes if I don't watch it close enough I get air bubbles built up in the line and the water block, when that happens I have to reverse the water flow to flush it out.

When you connected the tubing to and from the Igloo to the Big Water did you bypass the pump and reservoir that's inside the Big Water?
You should do that. There's no reason to have then and they just cause unnecessary flow restriction.

The flow should go:
Pump (in Igloo) > Radiator (in Big Water) . Block > Igloo > Pump (in Igloo)

In your system gravity has no effect because whatever is lost to gravity on the way up is just gained back again on the way down.

As for the pump stopping working the only thing iI can think of is possibly an air leak somewhere.
