I need OC help

I have a XFX 750i motherboard with a Q9400. Every time I go to use the windows program "System Update" and start making my profiles to OC. The computer goes ice cooled. I am only setting the cpu at 3.4Ghz and the front bus at 1413. My board can be OC to 1800 and my cpu can go to 3.8Ghz. So what is going on? Also do y'all know what V to do it in the bios?

This needs to be moved to the Intel Section.
