it would work but you probably wouldnt be able to go over 800x600 res with good frame rates.

you are talking about video cards that some motherboard manufacturers consider onboard graphics

2600 Pro 512's were $30 on Newegg retail; they don't sell them anymore though. They're quite a bit better than the 6800.

Tell him to save some cash and not go "cheep" where it matters...seriously...no reason in spending 20 euros for a POS that can barely run your games when you could save up for a week or two and grab a 4850 or similar...

em yes well I want to know if games will work on it he does not want to play on Ultra high details ^^ he just that games are normaly playeble ^^

like Mirrors edge ^^, I have a HD 3300 and mirror edge goes on medium details nicely, so I want to know which would be good for gaming and I am a bit worried about the pasiv cooling on the ATI but if you say it will work or not.. that would be nice to know ^^

I don't know, but I have a similar card, a 8800 GS, with 5 normal fans in the PC. It keeps it fresh, and a fan for the PC can't cost more than 5 dollars.

(I am not English, American, Canadian etc. so if I did not made myself understandable, by fan I meant:
)
