i love my CM centurion 5, but it keeps getting smaller and more cramped on the inside. i'm entertaining the thought of getting a new case, but i just can't find anything that i like. i want something larger, with no door on the front, inverted mobo and psu on the bottom and a side pannel window.

i'm not a fan of the lian li casters, not to mention they are too $$.

who's got some suggestions?

I like the Masstige, if only the A8N-SLI Premium's heatpipe worked when it's upside down i'd have gotten it. Overall i think it's a wonderful alternative to an Armor if you just don't like TT's offering.

pros:
cheap full tower
pretty much immune to shipping damage (mine arrived w/ a gaping hole in the shipper but not even a scratch in the paint)
heavy-duty steel

cons:
it takes some work to "make it your own"
if you plan on using the included HD cage, the inside's more like a midtower (but it's removable)
heavy steel (-_-)

what's with the "the heat pipes won't work with an inverted mobo setup"? either way the motherboard is mounted, the heat pipes will still work. if not, then wouldn't heat pipes on a cpu cooler not work with any vertically mounted motherboard? the heat creates pressure inside of the heat pipes and spreads the hot air out throughout the heat pipe no matter which direction the heat pipes are oriented.

sorry about the wait before i replied. Work and family matters delayed a bit.

but ya, that's what i'd considered as well but i wanted to make sure after, iirc, reading 1 or two reviews on newegg about the chipset getting toasty. found this:
