Well currently I'm just using one smp client on my i7 which says it is getting ~9000PPD (still doing my initial 10 work units).

I have another watercooled setup that is an amd 7750be, silverstone 500watt psu, antec 300 case, and BIOSTAR TFORCE TA790GX3 A2+ mobo.

What would be the best folding rig to make with those parts plus whatever else I'd need (probably 2gb ram, and a gtx 260 (core 216) ??) I would just run linux off a flash drive and WINE for GPU folding, if its worth it.

I'm also curious if anyone knows what computer cases can comfortably house a foxconn destroyer mobo w/ 4x gtx 260s ?

Yeah the trouble is most cases dont offer the pci slots needed for 4x dual slot gpus. Many people end up using a bench or a removable mobo tray like this.

The AMD rig would make some nice PPD with some gpus like the 260s you mentioned. I am not sure how they fair smp wise.

By the way, your i7 is gonna fly once you get past those 10 initial work units.
