I'd go with the AMD if your looking to game. Or try picking an Intel with at least a discrete NVIDIA card like a GT 630 or something if you can.
i3 3217U/Intel HD 4000 vs A6 5200/AMD HD 8400
Which would be better to run games? Need to be able to run things such as Source games, maybe LoL, and hopefully Civ V at low to medium at 720p.
