So went ahead and decided to try and overclock my newly bought i5, but now it will not boot to Windows properly. I have the Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H if this helps.

These are the only things I changed in my BIOS for the overclock
  • CPU Clock Ratio = 45
  • Turbo Power Limit = 250
  • Core Current Limit = 250
  • CPU thermal monitor = disabled
  • CPU PLL = 1.650V
Everything else was left default except those until for some reason I decided to change the core clock of the cpu from 1.95 to 1.20. Now when I reboot it displays the BIOS screen (where it tells you what the DEL key gets you to the BIOS setup etc.) and stays there. No idea what to do because it sits there doing nothing, my keyboard doesn't respond and I've tried unplugging it and plugging it back in multiple times. I have no idea how to override the settings I changed so it would boot normally or even boot to Windows period, so if anyone can help, I would deeply appreciate it.

Yeah sorry. I googled it right after and figured it out. But the problem is that I cannot interact with it at all. :/ as in my keyboard does nothing and I don't know how to clear it if I can't do anything.

Then kill the psu and pop out the battery for a couple of minutes.
