What should my temps be on stock cooling on full load running prime?

I'm hitting around 60C with hyperthreading off on stock everything.

I even checked to make sure it was seated properly and used thermal grease accordingly.

Yes, just like Chilly said your temperatures are fine with the stock cooler. You may not want to overclock just yet though.

if on the stock cooler, nope. If on a good cooler at stock, yes. If on a good coole overclocked, no.

80c is fine, just stay below 85-86c and you should be ok...

That depends on if you think the room/ambient temperature will rise significantly at any time over the course of the year. 80 C during the winter would have me worried for the summer months.

so let's say I OC my i7-860 to 3.3Ghz and I have 36C idle (lowest being 33C) and at full load I have 65C

so that's OK?

When the CPU is not overclocked my temps are 22C idle and 41C fully loaded.

yeah, doesn't matter if it's 80c @ stock speeds. If it's 80c @ 4GHz, it's also fine. If it is 80c at both clocks, then you have a broken/stuck sensor..or......hmm
