if money isn't an issue than asking whether or not to upgrade shouldn't be!

why not...stimulate your country's economy by spending!

My sister and I were arguing the other day because I just bought a 09 911 turbo and she stated I should be watching what I spend because of the economy. I was amused because hey I'm not having trouble with cash flow and well spending always helps! I also got a ridiculous good deal on the car from the dealership cause they haven't sold anything lately~!

Anyways everything aside, after upgrade your ram, mobo you will see a slight increase in performance, However your current system is pretty nice I would suggest waiting around til May when the newer generation mobo's come out.

i would say if money is not an issue then go for it... its not going to be that much better but its still going to be better... i can't really say how much but w/ the diff architecture i will perform better and it will run 8 threads instead of just the 4 your q9550 is running right now...

Maybe hold off on the i7 and buy another gtx 260 for SLI or maybe get 2 gtx 285's instead. Then get a liquid cooling setup and a new lian li case.

I thinking about going the same route.And yeah money is an issue for me.
