Ok so I move from my x48 and Quad setup finally
After just about getting to grips with everthing from FSB/DRAM ratios to CPU PLL The x58 platform throws a whole new light on the situation
So with Quads having a 5c difference between Tcase and core temps and various opinions on the net as to the tcase tjunction differential on i7 cpu I need a genius to tell me what I need to know! My current setup alows me to get to the stated frequency with the CPU @1.3v BIOS 1.272 OS but I am worried a little as I cannot make up my mind about temps! I have a Scythe Mugen V1 with 1366 VTMS mounts with one 1200rpm fan and this is what I get so tell my guys (AM I SAFE)

Ty in advance for any response
Kindest Regards
Scott

You posted idle temperatures, what really matters is that the core temperature does not exceed the max. safe temp while running a stress test( 67°C by Intel, 75-80°C by most users).

Edit: unclear picture is blurry...NVM.
I posted LOAD Temp see screen shot of real Temp stating max temp
under 100% LOAD
Also 67°C is Tcase which is measured @ top of proc this is not the core temp there is a distance between Tcase and core and I am looking for this distance is it 5c ????

real temp load says 2.1% m8, edit: but it also states the max temps below!

Yep, I can clearly see the max reached in real temp.

Temps are a bit warm for HT being off.

Look again, there is nothing wrong with the picture.

Maybe try to get a better fan for the cooler?
Still no responce to Tcase and core temp differential ? Place your bets 5c, 15c, 25c ???????

Just for now I am looking into getting a 1900rpm fan as I see no difference in temps from having a push pull config with 2 1200rpm's but if i have one pulling other than pushing i loose 3 degrees @ load

You should of gotten a Prolimatech Megahalems it cools the i7 very well. I have one with a fan with 1900RPM and it keeps it cool.
