Im looking at picking up a i7 950 at microcenter as soon as they get the early $249 buyers out of the way and lower the price to $199 or around there.

Seeing as the 950 is now the same price as the 930 at most retailers. Id love to see how some specific 950 batches are doing with overclocking.

Im especially interested in hearing about experiences from anyone who buys one from the Boston - Microcenter.

However, regardless of where you got your 950 from please post your BATCH NUMBER and let us know what kind of luck you've had with your OC.

Thanks!

Batch # 3016B029

http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1386567

i've only just started overclocking it...i did 4GHz at 1.296v/1.248v (idle/load).
all other volt on the lowest possible setting exept dram at 1.5v. stable for
about 15 hours with occt then my computer restarted giving me "Page
Fault In Non Paged Area" which as far as i can read is caused by the
dram volt being to low.

but im getting 4gb more ram and two videocards soon so im waiting to recheck it

3002B431 - 1.45v
