Hello, I'm new on forum and I need help whit overclock.

This is my configuration:

MB: Gigabyte EX58-UD5
CPU: i7-950
Cooler: Cooler Master V8
Graphics cards: SLI, 2xGTX460 Gainward Golden Sample
Memory: GEIL, 3x2Gb (2000 MHz) DDR3, Ultra Triple Channel
Hard disk drives: Western Digital (Black), 2x640GB SATA3, 64 MB (RAID)
DVD Rom drive: Samsung DVD-RW
Case: NZXT Apollo
Power Supply: Chieftec 750W
Keyboard: Razer Lycosa
Mouse: Razer Imperator
Mouse pad : Razer Destructor

=====>>
My computer work stable whit memory 1333MHz, but I can't make to work at 2000MHz.
This is my DDR3 memory:
http://www.geil.com.tw/products/showSpec/id/149

Work stable whit this settings:
CPU Clock Ratio: 24X
BLCK Frequency: 166
System Memory Multiplier: 10
Memory latency: 9-9-9-28

CPU Vcore: 1.30V
QPI/Vtt Voltage: 1.495V
IOH core: Auto
Dram Voltage: 1.640V

Processor work at: 3984MHz but memory at 1333MHz (9-9-9-28)
I tried memory and at 1970MHz and Windows start, but it's not stable work.

What should I need to do, to make memory to work at 2000MHz.?

Hi there, welcome to Overclock.net...

First go here - http://www.overclock.net/specs.php?do=addsystem and fill in your system specs. Then they show up in every post. It helps...

First off I am going to assume you ran a prolonged stress test at your current settings and ram at 1333 and it was stable.
Just booting to windows doesn't mean its stable. Intel Burn Test works good for short tests, but tend to heat your cpu up a bit. Prime95 is another but takes a good 8 - 10 hours, your cpu wont get quite as hot tho..

Here is a template of your bios.. I made some changes in red, the rest are from someone else's bios, so go through them and put in what you have them set to...

Code:

intell data sheets list max voltages for i7 900 series as
CPU Core - 1.55
CPU VTT - 1.35
Stay under these and try to get it stable with the lowest voltage you can.
I have my I7-950 running 4.0ghz 24/7 stable ( its running great! ). Here are my numbers hope its a little help to you!

I didnt mean 200 x 23 in that last post, it was supposed to be 166 x 23, then work your way up..

Set VTT to 1.35v or lower, intel "Absolute Maximum" is 1.35v.... Running it higher may cause damage..

And a 10 - 20 minute test isnt always stable... I suggest running Intel Burn Test for 20 passes at maximum. And run an overnight Prime95 blend test...

1.35V VTT isn't going to run the memory at 2000Mhz, to play it safe you will probably have to run it ~1600Mhz with a lower memory divider but you should be able to run the timings tighter than rated at that speed.
There are guys who do run the VTT at 1.5V 24/7, but really depends if you want to make sure the chip lasts. You won't see the difference between 1600 & 2000Mhz outside of benchmarks, & you can still run the memory at 2000Mhz for short periods if you do want to run some benchies.
