i7 BSOD at 3.8GHZ, i7 or Motherboard?

I use my EZ OC on my motherboard (Because I am not educated on how to overclock on the X58 chipset) and select 3.8GHZ, get into windows, run prime for about 10 seconds, then I BSOD.

Question is, is it my board, or is it my i7??

With that method, there is honestly no way to tell, heh.
I highly suggest reading guides and finding out how to OC via the BIOS. That way you can post your settings and more easily isolate the issue at hand.
Drop your multiplier and memory ratio then crank up the base clock to find the ceiling of your motherboard.

My motherboard BIOS doesn't say Multiplier, it says CPU Ratio. What should I drop my Multi too? I alway set my memory to 1600.

So the one you posted isn't completely stable?

I'd like to give you a little advice about this board. ASRock's automatic OC setting has the tendency to put your voltages at terrible levels. Have you tried manually OC'ing the processor with the instructional sticky at the top of the "Intel CPUs" section?
