i7 temp issue

So after just setting up my new rig, I installed Realtemp, and am not liking what I am seeing. I have an 17 920 on an Asus REII with a Mugen 2 in push-pull, and GC-Extreme thermal compound. I was expecting idles around 20 or so, but am getting what I posted below. Loads go into the lower 50's. Do I need to reseat my heatsink, or do you have any other ideas?

An i7 at 33° idle is pretty good, I don't see what the complaint is. My E6700 runs at the same temp idle.

Idle?..I'd be more concerned with load temp.

edit> is your cpu D0 or C0?
Whats the ambient temp? You are not going to get below ambient temps on air, in fact those temps on air are extremely good. I only ask because if I am not mistaken 20C is like 68C so your ambient temp would have to be reasonably lower unless you were getting 100% cooling efficiency. I don't know about you but I am pretty sure I wouldn't get away with my house being below 68F. When your in the 80+ range than you can start getting concerned.
my idle temps are upper 30's, lower 40's on my oc'ed 920. from what i have seen, these chips run fairly warm regardless of your cooling situation.

on a side note, i have heard that getting the chip perfectly coated with thermal paste and seated perfectly can make a difference. that might be your best bet is to re-seat it.
Nothing wrong with those idle temps. I run a single coolermaster R4 on my mugen 2 and get 36c idle temps at 19c ambient and low 71/72 with P95 on a 4.1ghz D0 i7 920 (in my sig)

My C0 i7 920 clocked to 3.95ghz running 1.416v Vcore in the same ambient runs 38c idle but I use a Megahalem on that with a single, push, R4 fan
Ok, great to hear, thanks everyone. For some reason I thought I had heard that regular idle temps for the Mugen were 20 or so. For the record, my ambient is around 70 F, and I have a D0. Also, just ran Realtemp again, and it's down to the upper 20's for all 5 cores, so I guess I should be pretty happy.

The best news of all of this means it's time to start OCing this puppy then!
