I'm currently a little dumbfounded... My 10900K's thermals are currently 49⁰C(idle-package) and 82⁰C (stress/load CPU-z-package) and it's beginning to worry me for the long term. The case is a Lian Li Dynamic XL, H150i Elite AIO, and 13 QL 120 mm fans (rad is up to push/pull) x6 exhaust, x1 rear exhaust, x3 side intake, and x3 bottom intake.
There is a 3090 FE but its thermals are not affecting the thermal performance since it never breaks 60⁰C full load. I've reapplied thermal paste and nothing changes.. tried 2 different 360mm rads same numbers... Should I just chalk it up to 10900k just runs hotter than a 9900k?

Specs;
  • Intel i9-10900K OC'd 5.0GHz / Corsair H150i Pro RGB 360 AIO (set to push/pull config) (Current;y installed Corsair iCUE H150i Elite Capellix (same ****))
  • ASUS Maximus Hero XII Z490 (Wifi)
  • Corsair Vengeance RGB 64GB DDR4 3200MHz
  • Nvidia FE 3090 OC'd (CV: +80/PL: 114/TL: 90⁰/CC: +150/MC: +750)
  • Samsung EVO PRO SSD 2+1TB
  • 13 Corsair QL120 fans
  • EVGA SuperNova P2 1000w
  • Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL Case

That GPU is dumping a ton of heat onto your rads

less positive airflow than yours. more heat from that 480w gpu
no ac. in MY..
temps are fine at sp63 crappy cpu @5.1ghz..
rams also [email protected]

go to 10900k thread to do a proper config on your cpu. alot of ppl listen to youtubers turning off crazy stuff thinking its hindering their oc.

That's the thing, it's not the cpu... It's the motherboard and the 3090FE is not the culprit of the heat. I had my rad on the side before and same temps.

You should have a VGA card supporter for that brick...

What was the CPU temp under aida "fpu only" test? For the AIDA "fpu only" test 82c is pretty normal.
