I've been struggling with my first OC for a couple of weeks now and I've come as close as I can now. This is where I am at:

I've tested my RAM with MemTest 4 in Windows with 12 instances running at once, after 200% coverage I ended those tests - everything there was OK!

I've run ~70 runs in IBT with memory size of 9500MB - again Everything was OK!

I've run ~8 hours of Blend test in Prime95 with FTT time set to 5 minutes instead of 15 minutes, This is where it failed, getting Rounding error!.

What should I do now? Why did I get a rounding error in prime but all other tests are OK? My vcore is @ 1.280v already for just 4GHz.

I think you'll be ok

prime can be buggy sometimes

also all systems will fail at some point even at stock its just a matter of when.

I would bump the vcore up one or two notch and then run prime95 with small fft for 8-12hours.

if youre still not stable post your BIOS settings so we can have a look at them and provide you with more precise recommandation than just an educated guess.

cheers
