Ive run into the wonderful problem of using a transparent PNG and viewing in IE, it is a solid color. I have heard of fixes/hacks for the CSS but I have not used it. Was wondering what some of you have used and had good luck with. Please post links.

Sample problem is attached. Left image is from IE right image is from chrome and is how it should look.

Code:
Code:
.item img {
background: transparent;
-ms-filter: "progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.gradient(startColorstr=#00FFFFFF,endColorstr=#00FFFFFF)"; /* IE8 */
filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.gradient(startColorstr=#00FFFFFF,endColorstr=#00FFFFFF);   /* IE6 & 7 */
zoom: 1;  }
Try that. You may have to tweak the colors a little bit though.
