I loved this game when it first came out and now they got an expansion coming out next month, check out the details about it.

I just hope they use Relic Online for copy protection as opposed to Steam. They could use either as they did use Steam for Dawn of War 2.

yes that is correct, I would love to play dawn of war and all, if I didnt have to pay for it every month, if I own the game why do I need to pay every month for it, where does my money go, to them expanding the game and helping the company, or to the pockets and them spending my money the way they want to.

What the heck are you on about?

The original Dawn of War was just a bog standard CD based game, I got my copy free with a (used) Collectors Edition of Company of Heroes, which in itself I payed about $3.

If you mean the continuous expansion packs for Dawn of War I, they weren't quite monthly. You have to pay for Dawn of War 2, because it's a brand new game.

Company of Heroes is very much the same format, except this is the second one only (expansion pack). You don't have to pay monthly for anything.

Edit: Are you thinking of Warhammer Online, which is something completely different? (And not even made by Relic anyway)

Ummm not sure where you've been but Windows live, steam lets u play Dawn of war 2 for free online. Windows live has been a free service for quite a while now.

yes my bad I am talking about war hammer which is in the same topic as dawn of war 2 and is also made by relic, and also that was only the beta if I am not mistaken and it is concluded now, so you have to pay for it.

well maybe you should save money and you can afford a rig like I do, which is not the best by all means and only costed $900, and my rig has nothing to do with that topic, my money was in requard to money in general, and u call $900 expensive for a computer I would hate to see what you would do if I spent $1000

you want expensive, look at mine, anyway back to topic lol.

i wasnt a big fan of company of heros, but i never was able to get it to run on vista 64, have no clue why, but just wasnt my favorite, lets hope they do it right with this one

warhammer online is not made by relic, its made by mythic.
