Ok, so I've tried to burn the window 7 beta on a dvd, but I really don't know what to do after that. My laptop (which I'm going to install it on). It doesn't install on the hdd though. I'll try to get it installed, but it really doesn't let me...

If anyone could let me know how to get it installed, I'd greatly appreciate that.

Thanks

Are you trying to install a 64 bit OS on a 32 bit machine?

Edit: Also Win XP shouldn't be telling you anything if you're trying to do a fresh install. You shouldn't even let XP load. The DVD you made should have been made bootable from an iso. Then in your bios change your boot priority to boot from cd. Then pop the disc in, and restart the laptop. Then it should load the installer from the disc.
