ive been researching wcing a lot and was wondering if i could get some advice on which parts to get and points/tips on how to setup

1. what are the best items i can buy?
im looking for a pump, rad (i have an antec 1200 so if the big boy is pretty good i would get that) res, and some tubing (nothing special just non-kinking high flow)
2. i would like to start off by cooling just my cpu and perhaps beginning of next year i will add my gpu to it (may add another rad as well so i can get max cooling)
3. if i do something i like to go all the way ONCE and that way i dont have to buy more parts for awhile, trying to keep the price below 300 bucks
4. id prefer a completely interenal setup, but im willing to perhaps put the res outside or mount a rad on my TWO back fans on the outside
5. thanks for all the help!

mcp655 or D5= around 65
Res: Swiftech micro res (I can sell that)
Radiator:swiftech triple rad (I can sell that)I also have a single Swiftech rad that I can sell
Barbs: I have some depending if you want 1/2 or 3/8th (more of 3/8th)
tubing: I have some depending if you want 1/2 or 3/8th (more 3/8th)
CPU block: ranges from 40 to 80 depending on what you want(best that are out are the heat killer, and apogee xt for 75)
clamps: I have 3/8th clamps
Anti-Kink: I got green or silver for very cheap(for 3/8th but can be used on 1/2)
Fans: Antec tri cools,silverstone

All your missing now is a pump, cpu block and fans, the rest I can provide with a good price!

this. except I would say go for a 240 if it's a cpu only loop. Black Ice of Feser XChanger

Triple is perfect for his setup and you can't beat a excellent condition triple rad for a reduced price!

I must've read over that line. In that case I amend my statement and say to look around the FS threads here and look for a nice 360 Rad

cause he may find a fantastic deal on something that could save him some money. It's nothin personal, it's just that I'm a firm believer in exploring all of the options provided.

shouldnt i use 1/2" tubing? since its little larger it should allow for more waterflow, unless their is somthn about wcing i dont know (which their is, i just thought the tubing would be pretty straight forward anti-kink 1/2" would be the best right?) should i get two rads? perhaps another rad and pump when i want to do my gpu? i have room for 2 rads, i could always either mod the top of my case to put a triple/double rad or get the "big boy rad" no1 has said if it was good or bad yet lol

i also have some fans (4 antec tricools, 1 cm r4, 1 thermaltake a1926, and 1 rosewill rfx-120bl)

and where could i get a cpu waterblock? i have an amd 955 so i dont think i can get the apogee xt...

I'm a very big proponent of using 1/2"barbs and 7/16" tubing for two reasons:

1: you get a better tubing-barb fit and don't need to use clamps (still do as an added measure)

2: the inner diameter of a 1/2" barb is 7/16".

I don't think you can get the apogee xt then man. And if you have a cpu only loop, go with a double or triple rad for now and when you add a gpu loop in eventually, pick up another double for it/them

I have 7/16 on 1/2 barbs and it's an amazingly tight fit, I've never thought twice about a leak from that area at least, I had to use a cup of hot water to soften the tubbing up enough just to get it on the barbs.

I have an Antec 1200 also, and if you want to keep it internal you should stick with a 240 rad, and when you want to add your GPU to the equation you can always add another 120 rad into the loop as well. That'd be my recommendation at least.

I have the 240 front mounted utilizing the existing front intake fans, still able to easily fit all 3 of my HDD's where they would be any how, and the dvd burner.

i will mount a triple rad in the front of my antec 1200 i plan on havin 2 hdd's and 2 optical drives but ill be happier with 2 hdds, 1 optical drive, and a triple rad rather than a double in the front, my rad will be internal, my pump will be internal, and my res will be internal, am i forgetting anything? (i will probably have 1 res, 2 rads, 2 pumps, and a block for my cpu and my gpu when im done but will start with 1 res, 1 rad, 1 pump, and my cpu block)

you could always pick up a rafter and hang the hdds in the top of the case. I have a buddy who did that with his antec 1200 and he's got 2 (maybe 3) of his top 3 drive bays open. He's driven around with those hdd's in there too. They've been pretty much 100% secure
