i'm looking to create a wallpaper out of avi/movie clips off my hard drive. i've already captured the image to seperate jpeg clips, but i really would like to make a moving wall paper.

is there any app that can take a small video clip and convert it so that i can make it into a moving wallpaper?

There's tons of freeware stuff that will do that. I found some on www.softpedia.com the other day. I'm not at my home desktop but i think it was just called gif animator or something.

thanks, i'll check it out when i get home.

i have this great idea for an animated wallpaper and it was just bugging me that i couldn't come up with a solution last night.

i couldn't figure out how to keep the picture/video from degrading if it was a Gif. i'm not particular about file size since it will just be on my desktop.
